My philosophy is that flying is fun and that just about anyone who applies themselves, can learn to fly. The mechanics of flying are relatively simple.

Developing good judgment is of paramount importance, and I spend a lot of time with my clients to assure that they make sound decisions that will keep them flying safely.

I worked in high tech for 25 years, primarily in Sales & Marketing, though I'm a degreed electrical engineer. I now teach flying full time because I love it.

I start learning to fly as a teenager, and have now been flying for over 30 years.

My primary focus is on making learning to fly enjoyable while producing the safest possible pilots.

I知 an FAA Gold Seal CFI, which means that I知 a very active instructor and that my clients have a very high first time pass rate on their checkrides.

I知 also one of six CFI痴 in the S.F. Bay area recognized by the National Association of Flight Instructors as a Master CFI.

I volunteer time as a FAA Aviation Safety Counselor, and give many presentations each year to pilot groups on safety related topics.
