Hi. My name is Mark Boyd. I am a flight instructor for Shoreline Flying Club. Actually, that barely scratches the surface of who I am. You may find my background quite interesting!
I recently got my Ph.D. from UCSC in Computer Engineering. I also recently became a Designated Flight Examiner for the Sport Class Pilots License.
I served in the United States Army for six years as an Intelligence Officer. I was stationed in Seoul, Korea and had the honor of serving with an intelligence brigade of over 1500 soldiers. I also led a team of 40 soldiers as an Electronic Warfare platoon leader.
Why is all this important? It tells you what kind of person I am. I look forward to working with you on your flying goals. As a highly accomplished person, I can help you too achieve your dreams.
